Empowering Women to Heal, Rebuild, and Rise,
One Honest Story at a Time

Resources, reflections, and inspiration for life after the storm.

This isn’t just a blog—it’s a space born from breast cancer, resilience, and the quiet bravery of starting again.

Through stories, reflections, and gentle encouragement, I’m here to walk beside you as you heal, grow, and reconnect with what matters most.

Whether you're in recovery, rediscovery, or simply navigating what’s next—you’re not alone here.

About Me.

Hey, I’m Heather.

At 45, life handed me a plot twist I never saw coming—Stage 2B, Grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma.

What followed was a journey through treatment, tears, small victories, and some really hard days. But also? A journey into grace, grit, and growth that changed me at the soul level.Grace Grit and Pink Ribbons was born from that space in-between—between diagnosis and healing, between the woman I was and the one I’m still becoming.

This isn’t just a blog about breast cancer. It’s about what comes after. It’s about showing up in the messy middle, telling the truth, and finding beauty even when everything feels broken. It’s about hope, creativity, and the fierce tenderness of starting over.

I’m still in it—I have another surgery ahead, and hormone therapy to walk through. But I’ll get through that too. Because healing doesn’t always mean “done”—sometimes, it means becoming.

If you're walking a similar road—whether you’re in the thick of it or just taking your first deep breath after—it’s my hope that something here will feel like a warm hand in yours. Because this space is built on the belief that healing isn’t a straight line, and that stories—honest, human stories—can help light the way.

So stay a while. Read, rest, reconnect. We’re in this together.

With Grace, Grit, and Pink Ribbons,

Heather
