Welcome to Grace, Grit & Pink Ribbons

Hey there, I'm Heather.
So, life threw me a bit of a curveball at 45 – turns out I’ve got stage 2B grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma. Didn’t see that one coming! But hey, life’s full of surprises. And I’ve always thought that our stories, the good bits and the tough parts, are what connect us.
This blog? Think of it as a peek into my roller-coaster ride. Not just the medical stuff but all the feels, the ups, the downs, and everything in between. More than just a diary, it’s a shout-out to Gods never ending grace, our shared grit, and the awesome power of sharing our truth during the worst times.
If my story gives even one person a moment of joy or sheds a bit of light for someone trying to get what's going on, then that’s a win.
We all have our stuff, right? Some out in the open, some behind the scenes. But in sharing, we find that cool mix of hope and “let’s get through this together” vibe.
So, whether you're here just browsing, looking for some insights, or maybe you’re on a similar wild ride yourself, here's the thing: we're in this together. Let's share, laugh, maybe shed a tear, and most importantly, keep pushing forward.
With Grace, Grit and Pink Ribbons,
Heather.
